Pais spent five years on the Burlington Planning Commission, including one year as Chair, and has worked as a code consultant. This experience allows them to develop
effective permit application packages for clients.
He recently opened his own office in Burlington’s south end. After graduating with a Masters in Architecture from the University of Minnesota, Ed has worked
for firms in Vermont, California, and Maryland before returning to Burlington last year. While in California he led the winning team in San Francisco’s Bike to
Work competition in 2006. He became a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional in 2006.
