After greeting Shelby, the fluffy door attendant at Arabesque, you’ll find what one visitor described as “high-end, tasteful things,” and that owner Tracy Stolese has a “sophisticated eye”. The budget-conscious needn’t be afraid to shop there, however… many items are within anyone’s limits. And to find a very special wedding, birthday or baby gift, this is the place.

Arabesque is the largest retail partner of Simon Pearce glassware in Vermont, and carries fine linens not available elsewhere. It’s easy to covet Tracy’s home furnishings… custom bedding, fine items for the bath, creative pillows, picture frames. Vermont products include handmade cards, pillows, jewelry, candles. A fabulous collection of soaps and lotions includes my favorite hand “butter” by Cucina – the best solution to winter dryness.

Comfy and cozy is the standard for clothing – the softest pajamas ever, a snuggly bamboo hoodie, wraps. You’ll find Interesting bags and bracelets. Baby favorites that will generate a lot of “ooh’s and aah’s” at a shower are the Petit Bateau line, teensy soft shoes and organic onesies and bibs.
